1970 Foundation of Logos Engenharia. First management project: Funil Hydroelectric Power Plant.
1973 Other three partners joined the company.
1974 Logos Engenharia was in charge of a full project of management of 12,500 MW of Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant, the largest in the world at that time.
1976 Villares Group hired Logos Engenharia to manage Vibasa Project, a US$ 600 million steel mill. It was the first project in Brazil of major outsourced project management .
1977 SANEGRAN – then the largest sanitation project in Brazil – started under Logos Engenharia management.
1980 Logos provided management services for Carajás Project, a US$ 3 billion mining venture: site, railway and harbor.
1981 Logos Engenharia installed the first non-shareholder director.
1983 Logos Engenharia launched the project of corporate renewal. Four new shareholders were selected within its key personnel.
1984 Company’s payroll had a peak of 1,200 collaborators.
1986 Logos Pró-Saúde was created, especialized in management of health systems for closed communities, such as housing nuclei in construction sites.
1987 Acquisition of the rights to use TecnoRed, an advanced technology of pig iron production. The business is managed by Tecnologos, the second subsidiary of Logos Engenharia.
1988 The engineering sector of Brazil faced its greatest crisis. Logos Engenharia was forced to downsize.
1992 Logos was hired to manage Tietê Program, a US$ 900 million project to clean the major most polluted rivers of São Paulo.
1992 MBR, Minerações Brasileiras Reunidas and Logos Engenharia signed the first of seven mining contracts.
1994 Logos Engenharia started the development of SIGIL, an innovative system of management of Solid Wastes of the metropolis of São Paulo.
1996 Logos Energia created by the opportunities generated by the privatization of the energy sector in Brazil.
1997 Teaçu Maritime terminal of sugar exportation started. Logos Engenharia was manager and shareholder of the project.
1998 Logos Engenharia and two more partners created Tradener, the first Brazilian company licensed to operate as broker in the released energy market.
1999 Logos Engenharia joined ARCADIS.
2000 Acquisition of Enerconsult, an engineering company with strong background in energy projects.
2001 Acquisition of Hidro Ambiente (partial shareholder) gave ARCADIS basis in the environment sector of Brazil.
2002 Logos Engenharia managed the implementation of Breitener, powerfull reserve thermoelectric power plant, which was built in record time.
2003 Acquisition of Tetraplan (partial shareholder), another environmental company.
2003 Another two collaborators were invited to become shareholders. Now the shareholders body has 23 people.
2004 The first Brazilian thermoelectric plant powered by biogas, whose implementation in record time was managed by Logos Engenharia, was inaugurated in São Paulo at its 450 aniversary.
2005 Logos Engenharia started the management of the implementation of the first steel mill plant using the TecnoRed technology of pig iron production.
2006 Management of the Third Pelletizing Project of Samarco, carried out in partnership with Logos Engenharia, it is considered as worldwide reference in the mining sector.
